Configure consent and welcome email
These settings shape what happens when someone joins your list.

Step by step
Open the Settings tab
Go to Newsletter → Settings. Scroll to Welcome email and Privacy & consent.
Choose the welcome behavior
Switch Welcome email enabled on if new confirmed subscribers should receive the welcome message.
Choose confirmation
Switch Double opt-in enabled on if people should confirm their address from an email before becoming active subscribers.
Test the sequence
Use a test address you control in a public subscribe form. Check the confirmation message, subscriber status in Subscribers, and the welcome message.
