Check a domain that is not connecting

DNS changes can take time and must match the values shown in your workspace.

Where to find this

  1. Account menu
  2. Settings
  3. Domains tab
Open Domains tab

Step by step

  1. Read the domain status

Open account menu → Settings → Domains and note whether the page is waiting for DNS, ownership, or the SSL certificate.

  2. Compare every record

At your DNS provider, compare type, name/host, and value/target against the routing, ownership, and certificate records shown in Creatoc. Copy the values exactly.

  3. Check DNS proxy behavior

If you use Cloudflare, read the DNS-only guidance on the Domains page. A proxied routing record can prevent verification in some configurations.

  4. Retry and test

Wait for your DNS provider to publish changes, select Verify Domain again, then open the HTTPS URL. If it still fails, send Support the domain and status text.

Good to know

One custom domain is managed at a time in the current workspace settings.
